Consisting of a pencil drawing of ‘Tall in the Saddle,’ Hardy’s P-51 Mustang, plus a pencil portrait of Hardy and his original signature and military biography.
2nd. Lt. George E. Hardy was with the 99th. Fighter Squadron, Tuskegee Airmen. He flew 21 combat missions from Ramitelli, Italy, during WWII. He additionaly flew 45 combat missions over Korea in the B-29 Superfortress. He also had 70 combat missions in the AC-119K Gunships over Vietnam! A total of 136 missions!! Decorations include 1 OLC’s, Air Medal (Korea) and DFC (Vietnam), Air Medals with 8-11 OLC’s. He retired as a Colonel.
