- 2nd. Lt. George E. Hardy was based at Ramitelli, Italy. He was with the 99th. Fighter Squadron and flew 21 combat missions in WWII, plus 45 combat missions over Korea in the B-29, and 70 combat missions in the AC 111K Gunships over Vietnam.
- Staff Sgt. James. A. Sheppard enlisted in the Air Force in 1942 as an Aviation Maintenance Technician. He served with the 100th. Fighter Squadron and later with the 301st. Fighter Squadron.
- Flight Officer James C. Warren began his career as one of the original Tuskegee Airmen and later served in the 477th. Bombardment Group. He was in the Korean and Vietnam wars as a Lt. Colonel.
