Standartenjunker Willi Fey served with SS PzAbt 502 and was a highly decorated German Panzer commander in WWII. The Waffen SS were considered the elite of the German armed forces and were involved in continous combat throught the war. Fey wrote numberous books of tank battles from his personal experience.
